Connection

The last and the most important concern is the connection, that the new product makes with the consumer. This connection or the bond between the user and the product builds up only when the user is satisfied with the product performance and begins to cherish it, which in turn creates a demand for the product. In fact, it is the customer satisfaction that makes the winning product and completes the most important criterion for innovation.

We tested our prototype with around six elderly women who are our neighbors and grandmothers and also took reviews from women who wear sarees in their day-to-day lives, like our mothers and neighbor aunties. It was a lot of fun going around talking to so many amazing women and almost everyone liked our product and gave honest reviews.

After talking to Mrs. Seetalaxmi we realized how beneficial such a design would be for people like her who are bedridden and cannot wear saree anymore as she mentioned how she could not wear a saree at her grandson's wedding because of her operation.
Moving forward we'd like to focus our attention on elderly females with medical conditions like Mrs. Seetalaxmi as the primary user as we felt the highest level of emotional impact because of the product in her case.
